Can I use a mountain bike front suspension fork on my bmx?.?

This may sound stupid but I don't really know because I'm thinking about buying a norco rhythm frame and maybe using my front suspension fork from my mountain bike.

you can but you will probly have to shorten the stem and make sure it is the right size

Not really. On one hand, mountain bike suspension forks are designed for 26″ or 29″ wheels. In a 20″ BMX, it would modify your bike geometry and the results won’t be that good. On the other hand, the only forks you could reliably use are those designed for freeride. And they are a bit heavy.

You may find some 20″ suspension forks, but they are designed for kids bikes and won’t be up to the job.
